This Starry Eyed themed necklace was inspired by MOPS's upcoming 2016/2017 year. My mom, who's a mentor for a local group, asked me to work on a few ideas for her to wear this fall, which I'm still working on, sorry Mom! My ideas seem to bounce around a lot for and this is what happened on a whim one day when I needed a break from the day to day shuffle, I mean hustle! I just love it! Don't you? It's got lots of sparkle, bling, and pizzazz. This gorgeous piece is perfect to wear while running errands in your favorite t-shirt or dressing up for a fun night out on the town.
Each piece of silverware I use is one of a kind, from the bumps/dents of pounding it out to the finishing touches that are added. I hand cut, drill and polish each piece in my Pacific Northwest studio. I then add collected beads and embellishments by hand. The chain is made from silver plated dot/dash chain and measures 24". The pendant hangs about an additional 3 1/2" lower. This necklace hangs mid chest usually past a standard cut v neck t shirt.
You’ll never see this pendant hanging around anyone's neck but your own!
